THE CHALLENGE

Wolford, a premium fashion brand renowned for its high-quality legwear and bodywear, approached Machinas with the challenge of infusing their online store with a fresh, modern look while maintaining their distinctive brand identity. The brief demanded a seamless blend of aesthetic refinement and functional enhancements, ensuring the new design resonates with Wolford’s brand ethos while offering an improved user experience.

THE CONCEPT

To address this challenge, Machinas embarked on creating a comprehensive new design system. This involved a complete redesign of key elements across the site, ensuring an enhanced visual appeal and more intuitive navigation on the homepage. The Product Detail Page (PDP) was overhauled to improve product presentation and user engagement, while the Product Listing Page (PLP) was streamlined to offer a more seamless browsing experience.

In the purchasing process, the basket and checkout sections were simplified and made more secure to facilitate a smooth transaction process. The My Account section received a personalized user interface to foster better customer interaction, and the Wishlist feature was redesigned to be user-friendly for saving favorite items.

Additionally, the Storefinder tool was optimized for efficiently locating physical stores, and the landing pages were crafted to be engaging and consistent with the brand for various campaigns and promotions. The header and footer were modernized to enhance navigation and maintain brand consistency, and transactional emails were revamped to ensure cohesive communication throughout the customer journey.

THE SOLUTION

Machinas proposed a solution that maintained the core elements of Wolford’s existing online store while introducing innovative enhancements to rejuvenate the platform. This involved integrating the latest functionalities and design trends to ensure the site remains competitive and user-friendly. Our approach was to build on the established foundation, incorporating cutting-edge solutions to elevate the overall user experience and operational efficiency.

THE IMPACT

The successful completion of this project marked another celebrated milestone in our ongoing collaboration with Wolford. Despite tight deadlines, the timely delivery of assets and well-executed actions underscored our commitment to excellence.
